Thursday the 17th September Pick moves to channel 37 and in its place will be Sky Arts on channel 11. Time to re-tune your Freeview receiver.

On Freesat, if anyone besides me has it, Sky Arts will appear on channel 147 (currently unassigned, used by Pick in June/July only for FTA football matches; regular Pick remains unchanged on channel 144).

Sorry, Pick moves to channel 34, not 37.

We usually get an on-screen warning, maybe nothing is affecting this area (South central)

It was published the Radio Times and when I tuned in to Pick this morning a message came up on screen saying that it was moving to Channel 34. It was supposed to have moved today but at the time of writing, 17.50, it's still on Channel 11.
I quite welcome the idea of having access to Sky Arts, it has some good programmes occasionally.

You're right, Pick has moved... unfortunately not anywhere I can access, so I'm doing a rescan, worriedly, hoping everything reappears

I've lost Forces TV, I don't want to touch my aerial though, cause I might get Forces back but lose two others!

I've just retuned my Freeview (London Crystal Palace transmitter) and basically nothing's changed yet. Better news on Freesat - Sky Arts is up and running & Pick is still where it was.

I get a message on screen say "New channels have been found" press ok on the channel changer, and it scrolls on screen. All done. I agree there are some interesting things on there.

If there's anyone who's having difficulty retuning, I found that on my Humax Freeview receiver, there is a difference between "Automatic channel search" and "Manual channel search". "Automatic" produced no results at all while "Manual" brought up all the new channels. However, "Manual" will wipe out all your programmed recordings and you'll have to re-programme them again.

I haven't received a message yet advising me to retune so won't do anything until I do receive one. I do find though that auto or manual retuning on Humax means that I have to reschedule my recordings. Existing recordings are fine.

I read the entire schedule for Sky Arts when it changes on a weekend: we've had it for a while, on our Virgin Media box. Occasionally, there are great concerts or some quite old recordings of past entertainers, plus many programmes about the old film stars no longer with us.

There are more due next week according to the RT. From Wednesday 4/11 Itv4 moves to 25 and Yesterday to26, but it doesn't give a full list.
