Well, at least they are investigating. Whether anything will come of it we shall see.

Everything that he did was very public, so the investigation should, in some ways be easy. It is what comes out of it that will be the problem, in part because of his position as team captain. Some have been calling for Romania to be kicked out of the tournament.

I can't say it comes as a surprise the behaviour of Nastase. Back in the day he was a wonderful player but totally uncontrollable. He didn't get his nickname of 'Nasty' for nothing.

Romania has won the tie. Simona Halep won 6-1 6-3 against Konta to put Romania in front. Irina-Camelia Begu then beat Heather Watson 6-4 7-5. The doubles now becomes a dead rubber. www.bbc.co.uk/sport/tennis/39684043

Crikey! Has he kept the donkey producing cheese for his gluten free regime? On Dave last week there was this event called Tie Break Tens. Basically you start with 8 players. Each "match" is first to 10 points. If you lose you are out. Prize money for winning all 3 rounds - a cool quarter of a mill!!! It is on Dave catch-up if anyone wants a gander and can bear all the ad breaks. Dimitrov, Evans, Wawrinka and a few others were in the men's, and Halep, Konta, Radwanska, etc in the women's.

I shall try and get that Tie Break Tens, it sounds interesting. Nastase has been banned from the Royal Box at Wimbledon.

Nastase has now been banned from the French Open.

Yes, but you need a lead of 2, so matches can go beyond 10. Dimitrov v Evans went to 14-12.
