Are there any murmurings about the likes of Federer going as far as the fourth round then dropping out. It's a bit impolite to other players who may have also made the fourth round if he just hadn't been there. It's also a bit rude on the organisers of the French Open that he just stops and says he's saving himself for Wimbledon.
Am I right, haven't a few of these older player turned up and then dropped out of tournaments. Most of them seem to get a by into the later rounds and certainly Murray hasn't had to do any qualifiers, or Williams I think and they haven't won a thing for ages.
