Is it absolutely necessary to shout, scream and grunt every time you hit the ball. If I was in charge I would dock them a point every time that happened . I have never heard Federer make a noise when playing You mention Roger. Is he playing Wimbledon. I've got a feeling he may be about to retire. The greatest tennis player of them all in my book. A pleasure to watch.

I have a feeling he is missing this year, but will be back next year. I hope this is true, I would be very sad to see him go.

Sad to relate Sue Barker will be presenting her last Wimbledon. It's unclear whether it was her own decision.

It was her decision. She had been offered a new three year contract. She decided to quit for a number of reasons, including the death of her mother.
“Basically I just feel the time is right. It has been my dream job and I have loved every minute of it working so many great colleagues who I am going to miss so much.
“When I started I never thought I would manage 30 years. I had actually made up my mind to leave in 2017 because the hours were becoming very long and quite challenging. That would have been 25 years and seemed a good time, but I am so glad I made the decision to stay on. I’m very happy to be leaving with no regrets and on my own terms while I am still on top of the job, it just feels like the right time to go and leave it to others.”

Here's what she said about her mum's death and her decision to quit:
“My mum was always so interested in my broadcasting career, and we would speak every evening. When something like that happens it does make you reassess life, which is another reason I think this is the right time.”

I can remember some years ago under a different regime when rumour had it they definitely did want to get rid of her. Martina came on as a guest and went nuts, it was hilarious. Sort of “what’s all this about you being replaced as anchor, you’re a grand slam winner!”.

Sad she is going, she has been a great Wimbledon anchor....just as long as they don't replace her with Mark Petchy!!

My favourite grass court tournament this week...Queens (although I loved it back in the day when it was sponsored by Stella Artois and done out in green and red)
