It was a bit rushed, they still got lots in though. And not every segment is done every week. I'm sure the A vs D missed a couple of episodes last series. It doesn't help that they have so many adverts. It was on for 1hr but at least 15mins was adverts if not more.

I really like Stephen Mulhern on Saturday Night Takeaway, I laughed my head off when he walked down the stairs dressed as a monk! And the In For a Penny game is funny. And The Game Of Phones was good, the audience was loving it because they were involved. The last woman to win was holding onto Ants waistcoat for dear life. He moved her hand at one point and held it but moments later it was back again. Nervous Tension! It was only 30mins longer than last week but it seemed like there was loads more stuff. Really enjoyed it this week and Take That were good. Liked them cutting to the live Olly Murs concert of then all doing the hand claps from Never, brill.😃

I loved the Dermot O'Leary bit. I was crying with laughter. The banana for a hand 🍌 and when he spun round and shouted "Hi viability". Lol And getting the man to push him to the cheese counter in the shopping trolley! 🧀
This is such a fun show, it gets people at home and in the audience really involved...no Mulhern though!

Great publicity for Tesco too wasn't it. Can't quite see how, did it make you rush round this morning to play pineapple skittles with a melon. Like I did........

I did enjoy this last night. But what will they do next year? Last year was Spain and this year is Florida. It's like it's going to need to get bigger and better. Maybe Australia or California. What I like is if there's a section of the show you don't like, wait 5mins and something else will come along...obviously if you don't like A&D then you are scr*wed!
... There's been loads in the paper about parents being fined for taking their kids out of schools for holidays. How did all those people get on last night? 🤔 I suppose a free holiday to Florida is worth a £60 fine. Arh, maths!😉

Trust me, most parents would rather pay the fine than lose the chance of a holiday. The holiday companies whack the prices up so high during school holidays that you save way more than the cost of the fine. And the school I worked in never reported anyone for taking their kids out. It was all 'the kids have been ill ' by parents and the teachers just nodding. The problem with infants though is they are so excited to tell you about the holiday they forget they aren't supposed to tell you.....

She was going to London for the weekend for her birthday, going on Friday coming back on Sunday so needed Friday off school. Her mom had told her that's she'd phone in on the Friday to say she was sick. But on about Tues/Weds the class was talking about something that would be happening in assembly on the Friday and she piped up "I won't be here on Friday, I'll be sick." !😄 I agree school is important but if it's a one off and the child has good attendance the rest of year I can't see a problem. They're going to be spending time in a different country or seeing new parts of the UK, which us educational, and spending time with their family in a relaxed way which is important. My Goddaughter attendance it pretty much 100% except for that London day and maybe the odd day off sick but does after school clubs as well and swimming on Saturday's, what more do they want?

Infant and junior schools used to be able to send the child off with educational stuff like projects. Studies of the place they are going to, essays on what they see, pictures to colour in, stuff like that. But now they can't so it's an opportunity wasted, really.
I get not taking the kids out if they have exams coming up, like seniors, but otherwise no.
