Cheers Mike. No wonder I couldn't find much about them if I was spelling it wrong. TBH I was mixing up them with the Affront, which as everyone knows, are medusoids. In my defence it was late and I was tired. This is the best pic of an Affront I could find.  |

Photobucket have just disabled third party access to their site without warning, meaning that all Photobucket images are no longer viewable on any other site unless the account holder pays $399 to upgrade their account. With any luck, they'll be out of business in months, but it's still annoying for those of us who've been using their service for years.  how to upload pics |

That's very true. They've been going downhill for a while. So maybe this is a concious attempt to make some money before they close it for good.

I've tried to create an account with the image sharing site used by this forum but it won't accept any user name I choose. I don't understand what they mean by "_" as a requirement. I included letters, numbers and a symbol and it still won't accept it. Very tiresome, I've no idea what they want so can't create the account.

IMGBB? That one? That's very odd. Is it username or password you are having a problem with?
ETA: You don't have to have an account with them to post pictures here but obviously you can also use it as backup. I think I do have an account. Let me just check.
EATA: I can sign in with my email address. Did you give you a choice to do that?
EATAA: Actually if you can C+P the error message here, we might be able to work it out.

It's the user name it won't accept. This is what it asks for - Letters, numbers and "_"
I don't know what that means. I've tried using letters numbers and a symbol. I just get - Please use the required format. I've tried including underscore and quotation marks, won't accept it. Get the same message. Don't know what the bloody hell they want!

I have just looked,and your are reading this wrong,it is saying it will accept those symbols ,not you have to use them.
I entered hoody as a user name and it accepted it.
Then you do password etc.
