Happily, my Dad has learnt to avoid coming down to say goodnight when he knows Gogglebox is on. Took him a little while to realise though!

I watched that Dr Pimple Popper and at first couldn't understand what on earth people were on it for. However, she is lovely with everyone, reassuring, helpful and very kind and then it dawned on me they are getting their treatment free if they are on the show . She knows her limits and will check the latest clinical data and consider outcomes etc. Some have been to see other doctors who weren't helpful or they couldn't afford the treatment. It is a bit gruesome and I've only watched two episodes, not for the faint hearted, this is not the equivalent of the odd blackhead, this is Vesuvius. Not sure I would want to be a regular viewer, but you do feel compassion for her patients and they are completely thrilled at having their problems resolved.
Exploitative in the fact that they need to be there is the first place but not exploitative in that they all have the capacity to give consent and they all do get a positive outcome that is free and effective.

Sid Siddiqui seemed to be missing...I hope he's ok.

I hadn't seen this for ages so thought I'd check up on them last night.... everyone coping moreorless in the way I expected Presumably one of the sisters from Leeds(?) is now in her own home and the one we saw was with her husband... and I hadn't thought before, but perhaps the senior Siddiqui lives with his son which is why they're together? I felt quite emotional watching their reaction to the Queen and to the news about Boris...

Sid has posted somewhere to say he is OK but I cannot remember why he isn't on the show. Perhaps he is shielding for 12 weeks. The mother and daughter with baby seem to have lost the chap who always seems to wear pyjamas bottoms. And the hairdresser seems to have dyed his hair dark grey, which I think rather suits him. I did read that Lee is staying with Jenny at the moment (friends without benefits as he called it on Twitter) because they had been called out for breaking the lockdown, but they aren't.

Mary and Marina in Bristol seem to have gone altogether. Self isolating I expect, as they are both well into their eighties. Glad Sid is OK.

It's slightly different now, but I still laugh with them all.
I see that Giles managed to make Mary break up with laughter this week!!

It would appear that the Tapper family have had the virus with Jonathan suffering most. He suffers from Diabetes.

Which ones are the Tapper family?

Tapper family. They're not in it anymore. I don't know why Gogglebox don't just announce at the start who's missing and why to stop all the speculation and Twitter posts. In the Aussie version the older couple with the art collection are self isolating so aren't taking part but the voiceover announces that they won't be back until after the lockdown. It clears up any misunderstanding. I wonder why the sisters were together this week but not last. They live at different addresses don't they. I'd assume the Sidiqui brothers live at different addresses too, I think everyone else lives together such as the Blackpool brother and sister, the Welsh couple and Lee and Jenny have moved into the same caravan.

Yes I noticed the sisters were together. I think it is filmed at the blonde sister's place where she lives with Nat. The brunette sister lives with her partner and two children elsewhere, as I understand it.
There is a letter in next week's RT about the Siddiqui brothers, saying being at opposite ends of a sofa is not good enough as they shouldn't be visiting. I always thought it was Jenny's caravan which Lee visited, but from the way she spoke this week she is staying in Lee's spare room.

Yes I wondered about the brothers and the two girls. They shouldn't be doing this.

In the same way that This Morning, and all other news programmes are shown, they are apart.
The programme makers would not just do this on a whim, they have got approval.

I always thought it was Jenny's caravan aswell, she always seemed quite at home there, but from what she said it looks like it's Lee's.
