I really didn't like them to begin with, but they're one of my favourites now along with Jenny & Lee and The Malones. I liked Giles and Mary to start with but have gone off them now. .....Jenny and Lee and the Malones with their sensational new worldwide hit....the Googlebox rap(also featuring the lad with the big eyebrows)....available for download now....! |

The UK Celebrity version starts on Friday (5th) at 9pm. Among the new participants are Zoe Ball and her son Woody, and Harry Redknapp and his wife Sandra. I prefer the UK version didn't recognize any of the USA ones, apart from the Osbournes.

Zoe Ball and Harry Redknapp..... that will test me. I generally do enjoy this though. I gave up on the US one as well. I didn't know who was on or what they were watching except, like Panda, for the Osbournes

The trouble with the celebs is that they darent be controversial. They talk about the show as in "Ooh I love this" unless it's a show with the public in. They do their best to talk about themselves as in, if they're watching Death in Paradise they'll talk about a holiday they had. And I bet they don't show Cummings 😁😉😉

Not too bad. Didn't think Gyles Brandreth would use the F word though. He's with Maureen Lipman this time. Shaun Ryder is always good for a laugh. Emilia Fox was with her mum, Joanna I think.

I only watch it for the commenters. You wouldn’t get any of that directness from “celebs”.
I’ve hardly ever seen any of the programmes they watch, which are mostly light entertainment and then I have to FF through the drama series because I wait and binge them weeks later.
Hopeless.

I like Emilia Fox and Joanna David, and Martin and Roman Kemp the most. I think Joe Swash and his wife whose name I forget rather play to the camera.

You're thinking of Stacey Solomon. I like them both. Both live life in front of a camera anyway. I don't think they need to play to it.

I'm enjoying it but it is, as said, hard to know when they are "acting" for the camera as they are undoubtedly better at that, than Joe Public when they are on. Some of the relationships I wonder when the divorce will be pending..... we never talk to each other like some of them do!
Gyles & Maureen Lipman are very droll: they are shocked at some of the content, as I don't think either of them are usually very big TV watchers, and are probably as horrified as others in my age group at how low things have sunk in some areas of entertainment. They make each other laugh, though which is fun to see.

There was an interview with Rylan where he said he has been offered lots of work he could do with his mum that would make them a lot of money. Travel shows and things like that, but he said he wouldn't expose his mum to that and she has health conditions that would put her at risk and she is often fragile and he felt some of the offers were designed to potentially make her look stupid and he would never do that to her.

He's mentioned a couple of times that she's had Crohn's Disease since he was a child. His latest show about makeovers, there was a young guy on there who had it and Rylan was very understanding with him.

Poor woman it's an awful thing and I'm sure you don't want to be far from a good hospital so clearly no trekking around jungles and stuff. And I could imagine she might get set up to say things to make her look silly. Like that other comedian who always has his mother with him.
