One thing putting me off is the sob stories ,a lot of these talent shows do it.
We all have personal tragedies, but do you really need to go on nationwide tv and tell everbody?
The singer on Saturday is the prime example.
Rest of the show is up to usual standard, but just not as good as first 2 weeks.

I don't think there are as many sob stories that there were. As soon as I hear one...I don't vote for them

The comic magician was good and original.
The dance act at the end was just brilliant and will be in the final show.
The 'Bring Him Home' singer made everbody cry.
Still my highlight show of the week.

This show just goes from strength to strength. Lots of good acts this week.

I look forward to this aswell and BGMT. They're getting a good mix of acts, in years gone by, especially after Diversity, there were way to many dance troupes on the show, but they seem to have a better mix now of singers, dance acts, comedy, magic, really good. I just hope the right acts get through to the live shows. I know they put a few dodgy acts through for comedy effect and show how much better the other acts are but not if it means a good act doesn't get a chance. You can usually tell some of the acts that are going through to the live shows from the amount of airtime and reaction they get from the audience. The skaters and Bring Him Home will be in the live shows and I'd think the stunt/magician from last week aswell.

I'm catching from show 3 onwards. Snooker kind of took over my life!
The woman with the harp was a bit... uncomfortable ... in more ways than one!
The knife act was good but... seen it so many times before.

I actually didn't like the Bring Him Home singer. Far too much vibrato. Although it got better on the last 4 or 5 phrases when he stopped warbling and put some strength in his voice.

I think my favourite was the stuntmen. That was clever. And the 10 year old girl from Malta. That was one heck of a song and she sang it superbly. Real feeling and strength from such a young child. Incredible.

Last night.....
The rock band were good, got the crowd going and deserved golden buzzer.
After thinking about the magician, pretty easy to work out how the second trick was done ,and the egg thing must have been some sort of switch in the fan,but still pretty impressive.
The Chelsea pensioner was a tear jerker, will make the live shows, but probably not much further .
Dance group good, everything else good, actually good year.
Live shows must be week after next?

One of the things I love about BGT is that you don't know what the heck is coming next. I have gone off the Stephen Mulhern follow up, it is so stupid...maybe thats the attraction of it.

That Brotherhood thing was easy to work out though. Not overly impressed.

But doing the splits whilst having a woman balanced on top of your head? That's impressive!
And they had a good story to go with the dancing.

The boy band were very good. The magician was ok. I liked the egg trick, very good sleight of hand. But the second trick has been done loads of times before. And is easy to work out.

First semi-final....
The police dog trick was an obvious set-up as Alesha stumbled over her one line by answering the question about the name of the jumper before he had finished asking the question ,there is no way any answers could be random. And bringing on puppies was a manipulate ploy.
All the other acts were good in their field, but the drawn out haunted act ,was just well too drawn-out,(missed the sweary word),didn't really get it.
The comedian was funny, the Indian dancer ok,but the two best acts were the skaters and the primary school in my opinion, glad the school went through, annoyed about the dog act though.
But a good opener.
