Another strong episode with superb acting. Elizabeth Moss is outstanding. {SPOILER:Click to Show} I am glad that Nick seems to be on the right side and not a baddie as was suspected. Not so sure about his new wife though!

One thing has been puzzling me every time we see Selena Joy knitting. Does the reading ban extend to knitting patterns and recipe books? If so my family would get long scarves and a limited selection of dishes! Surely people weren't expected to remember intricate knitting patterns? My mother knitted all her life but always used a pattern. (I realise I am fixating on a rather obscure plot point.)

Well Fred has gone down in my estimation, not that he had far to fall.

Very grim indeed. What a way to induce the baby, my goodness. Fred seemed to have more go in him for that than in the normal ceremony. I didn't understand why they had to go to quite such a remote spot to see the daughter. And now, having gone through all that, how on earth can June get home? Or is this house just a few yards from Canada........... Probably not!

I thought the same about the house. And how cruel of Waterford to allow June to see Hannah for all of 10 minutes. What would that do to both of them but particularly Hannah? Hardly a kindness.
I wasn't clear about the ending – who was shot? Was it Nick?
Am I alone in thinking Max Minghella isn't a very good actor? Looking enigmatic will only get you so far. He has some duff lines, it's fair to say, but in the scenes with Eden she acted the socks off him, I thought. I hope that brute of a guard gets his come-uppance and doesn't take Eden with him. Her only crime is being very young and indoctrinated, though you could perhaps say the same of him.

I don't know helen ... I don't think Max has much of a script to be vocal with. Dark and brooding seems to be his role - keeping an eye out for June. It's their child after all!

You wouldn't think his dad was born on the Isle of Wight!

Yes, and Joseph Fiennes is from Wiltshire and O-T Fagbenle is from London. Yvonne Strahovski is Australian. Pretty flawless accents as far as I can tell, but they generally are. The only one I can remember significantly slipping recently was Archie Panjabi in The Good Wife, who started off very well but her English accent started to appear when she was filming The Fall at the same time.

Josh from The West Wing is a Commander! He developed their economic model (snigger, cos it is really sophisticated!). I hope he has gone rogue, his Martha did seem to swear at him.
Poor Eden though. Executed by drowning with her (IMO horrible) lover. And Serena has renamed Holly as NICole.... Last episode next week.
