Sheldons Mother is played by Laurie Metcalf who also played Roseannes sister Jackie I was a bit worried about it as it seemed to be turning into the Sheldon Show with him dominating it ..but it seems to be more spread out again now  And Sara Gilbert, who plays Roseanne's daughter, Darlene, is Leslie Winkle on TBBT. She was also in 'The Class', which only got one series. We don't rush to watch the show, but enjoy it when we do. Seldon has definitely matured socially, just not as much as he thinks he has, which is a a running joke. |

Ah, that must be why Gilbert and Galecki are reputed to be so close.
'Roseanne' was never my cup of tea, just one of those shows where the hype seemed to exceed the content.

I am just working my way through the box sets of Roseanne .. I am on season 5 ... I must say I really like it and there are some great lines

I have a feeling they will be .. I have a feeling that Sheldon & Leonard will become step brothers thus adding a new dimension to the series and moving it on

I think it could be a good move. It's a good actor playing the Dad. And the 3 main relationships have gone pretty far now so could do with a change of focus.
