No celeb family team went well, whingey youngest, but overall they all took part with verve and enjoyed themselves. Please don't get me a VIP Trip to the York Dungeons for a prize ever!!

I know it showed the whole family dynamic where she, despite probably being capable, was obviously the one everyone helped because she whinged the loudest and no doubt following this complained to them that nobody helped her. Ha ha, I have a sister just like this!! |

Looking forward to it. I'm only familiar with one of the 'celebrities', I think, but in that case it should be much like watching a non-celeb edition!

A remarkable first episode for the new series. They won a grand total of three crystals, but got three lock-ins and chose to rescue their teammates each time, so for the first time ever they finished with no crystals! They really did come across as astoundingly dim! It certainly won't have done anything to contradict stereotypes of Essex residents!

Just caught up with this. They were much better overall, but Richard definitely seemed to be finding things trying at times; mind you, once or twice (particularly in the clock challenge) there were cracks showing in the team's espirit de corps, too.

The Head Room got a bit tense as well. It was Richard's idea to put the non-English person in that challenge. I'm guessing he was trying to make a joke out of blaming the team but it went down pretty badly.

'Black Ice' did quite well on some of the games this week and had several narrow escapes. I liked that they had an electric guitar version of the theme tune played at the end in tribute to the AC/DC tribute band - a nice touch, I thought. 😁
