Fox UK will start airing the first season of Lucifer from Thursday August 31st at 9pm.
Lucifer follows the eponymous character who, bored and unhappy as the Lord of Hell, resigns his throne and abandons his kingdom for the shimmering insanity of Los Angeles, where he gets his kicks helping the LAPD punish criminals.
It stars Tom Ellis, DB Woodside, Lesley-Ann Brandt and Lauren German.
“Lucifer is ridiculously entertaining; part supernatural drama, part police procedural, part dark comedy; the series takes everything we think we know about the world’s greatest villain and flips it upside down”, said Toby Etheridge, Head of Programming for Fox Networks Group UK. “British actor Tom Ellis is having the time of his life playing the Lord of Hell, and so will our viewers with the television premiere of Lucifer on Fox.”
(Amazon Prime Video UK have the rights to show Lucifer first in the UK, and S3 will start from 3rd October).

That's sound like my kind of thing. Shame I can't see it! Maybe Netflix will pick it up at some point.

Lucifer is an enjoyable watch - my son & I are both into it. We're looking forward to season 3 on 3rd. Oct.
All episodes from seasons 1 & 2 are available now on Amazon Prime.

Yeah, I enjoy this. Tom Ellis is very good in the role, a little OTT at times but I suppose that's part of the character. Some of the things he says are so funny, because he's Lucifer he hasn't got a filter or the need for one.

TV trailer made me curious so bought the DVDs ... So glad I did, we are enjoying them so much ... already on Season 2 ...
Apparently it is causing a bit of a stir in the US ... upsetting believers and non-believers alike ... We find it an hilarious romp (perhaps not the best word to use) and look forward to see how the writers develop the characters and stories.

It is an enjoyable show, I have read some reviews complaining that it is not as good as the Mike Carey comic book series of the same name on which it is based. The latest series has some episodes that step back from the current story arc and deal in more detail with other characters, like the ex husband of Lucifer's therapist, that was quite a dark episode.

And, for people with Amazon Prime, all 22 episodes of Season 3 are already up (meaning that there is a lot more for FOX UK to show).

Cancelled.
Writers and cast going all out on social media to try and find another network to pick it up.

Yes, and apparently tomorrow's finale ends on a massive cliffhanger, which will never get resolved now (unless the show finds a new home).

Two already-filmed special episodes, which would have been in season 4 if the show hadn't been cancelled, are being shown by FOX on Monday 28 May - available on Amazon Prime Tuesday 29 May.

Netflix have closed a deal with Warner Bros. Television to resurrect Lucifer, which was cancelled last month by Fox.
Reps for Fox and Warner Bros. declined to comment on the length of the pickup, but sources confirm that the streaming giant ordered a 10-episode Season 4.
