Bob Mortimer on tonight. With Sarah Hadland, Samantha Morton, and Miles Jupp...but they'll just be sitting and watching as we will.

The terrible thing is that a lot of his stories are true. Surely the must have run out of true stories to tell ... surely?

But new things are always happening to people - this show will run and run.
I can imagine future statements beginning "during lockdown, I learnt to...."

I am just amazed at how interesting his life has been in a way that has produced to much for the programme.

I wish Bob would write a biography.

I absolutely cried with laughter watching that. Everyone was on top form, but Bob's Scotch egg story.......! Words fail me. I always catch Miles Jupp's infectious laugh, too.

I cried with laughter, too. He is a true genius. Rob Bryden does well in just sitting quietly during classic episodes like that, as he is not needed to inject more humour.
David Mitchell got really cross with himself because he couldn't work it out!!!

One of the best panels ever! Samantha Morton was brilliant and Miles and Bob are always excellent. I believed both Sam's story (taking Tom Cruise to Argos - he does like to get out and about when in a new city - and the little pig with the card)
Its the way Bob reads the card with hesitation to throw them off from the start that is so clever. And the man gets everywhere!

I am just amazed at how interesting his life has been in a way that has produced to much for the programme. He's led a varied interesting life with many jobs (hairdresser, solicitor, bin man, among others). What makes it worse is that I could point you in the direction of his podcast with Richard Herring or Adam Buxton, where there is a wealth of stories from him, all very similar to those he tells on WILTY, but that could potentially spoil any future WILTY appearances if they were to come up. They're like 90 minute episodes of WILTY. This, from Travel Man, just shows there's no end to his stories (and also see Richard Ayoade break character)... Greg Davies is similar. If you've seen much of his stand up, listened to interviews on podcasts, or just watched all of Man Down (which is somewhat autobiographical of his time as a teacher - or translated from his childhood school days into his adult character), then you'll recognise which stories are true.
