I had to pause my recording in Little Dorrit’s mountain story because I was crying with laughter. Ditto in the owl story. I would believe any outlandish story from Johnny Vegas, I must admit, because I am sure he would be unstoppable.

I don't watch this programme as a rule but I did check it out as I noticed Anna Maxwell Martin was one of the guests and I wondered what she sounds like in normal life. She has a really hearty laugh and I had a lovely moment of imagining her as CS Carmichael torturing the life out of poor Ted Hastings and then giving a heart laugh! Lovely image!

Her imagining of being married to the wimpish David was hilarious...

David and the owl... Funny as that was the way David told it I had a huge amount of sympathy for him because I have had really bad bird phobia ever since I was little. I feed them in the garden and get lots of pleasure from watching them but I go into full panic mode if one comes anywhere near me.

Oh yes me too, Vicky. I couldn’t even step foot in an owl sanctuary let alone pose with one, 😱😱. And as for pigeons... total nightmare.

I usually like a hearty laugh, but Anna’s was a bit too shrill for me. I knew who the “This is my....” guest was tonight, because I know the pub he runs. I also remember Take That appearing at St Helens Show before they became really famous. I didn’t see them perform, but I was working at the show that year, and people were talking about them, some predicting they were going to be massive and others referring to them as a flash in the pan.
The show wasn’t up to par for me this week, but I was very tired after a long day and Martin Lewis gets on my nerves.

Glad it wasn’t just me, I thought it was a long way below the usual standard
Not impressed by Anna’s attempts to be funny.
Sadly that’s the end of the series, apart from a compilation programme next week.

Aw, didn't know it was near the end.. . I thought it was slightly below par last night, & found Anna M a little annoying which surprised me as I think she is a great actress. Also, can't stand Johnny Vegas. Looking forward already to the next series, whenever that is.

Final one tonight made up of the bits that did not make the initial cut.

And the final one tonight, with snippets of various episodes, was very funny. It's got to the stage where Bob makes me laugh even before he opens his mouth to speak!!

Some great food ones tonight with the crackers, chicken grease and how to eat an apple.
The Oktober fest one was excellent and so well described.
It puzzles me when some reviewers remark that David and Lee must be running out of stories to tell. Why? New things happen to people every single day!

A very funny selection, and I loved David's response to the flirting!
