Not a fan of Ore? There is usually an "unseen bits" programme at the end of the series so I am sure he will contribute then. Still cringing at Bob and his 17 sugars. "18 is too sweet for me"

So pleased Ore had nothing to say last night.....and I thought the cabbage story, from last week, couldn’t be beaten this year but Bob’s dentist one, wins it by a mile. Link to Fuji IX dental cement. Can't see Bob's double-ended spoon though!

Bob Mortimer is so brilliant at this. He has a knack of making true stories sound so far-fetched, just as David Mitchell said last night. Even so, I couldn't believe the diy dentistry....rather him than me! And the argument between David and Lee over having a bench beside the front door.... . I have a cold and I laughed so much it brought on a prolonged coughing fit!

New series of, imo, one of the best panel shows on TV. Thrilled that the wonderful Bob Mortimer is on the panel. His rambling stories are a source of constant delight....

Absolutely hilarious! Love it when Bob Mortimer's on. I thought Lucy Porter was going to wet herself!

Classic Bob to start the new series....but I’m still going to use an egg, next time I have bath, just to see what happens.
Lucy was getting on my nerves, pleased she didn’t have a story to tell - and yes, he did look like one of those modern brewers, but I wanted him to be the baby.

I said 'Hipster brewer' as soon as I saw him!

Q: Did they see the funny side? BM: No, she was facing the other way.

I was crying with laughter. In fact I had to pause the recording so I could wipe my eyes. Great stuff. He did look exactly like a hipster brewer, which was why I assumed he was the baby!

I thought brewer was too obvious...also the story seemed so far fetched, but I suppose that's Bobs storytelling. (Richard Herring does some podcasts where he talks with, mainly, comedians, and Bob Mortimer is one. He's also done ones with Lee Mack, David Mitchell and Lucy Porter.)

That episode, last night, was so funny that I've not recovered, yet!!! Blinkin' hilarious.....
I too, thought the guy looked like a brewer, but I wanted him to be the baby!!
And Lee's description of being locked in the car wash...... "The doors were really clean!"

I only realised it was on when the announcer just before Have I Got News for You mentioned it: I am SO glad I didn't miss it as it was absolutely vintage Bob Mortimer and Would I Lie to You? David Mitchell 's reaction to the egg in the bath story was hilarious in itself! I only have one complaint BBC.....it is TOO SHORT as has been said here many times.
