I wasn't going to watch this, it just seemed to be a lookie likee. But I really enjoyed it, and Julie is such a likeable soul. She doesn't have any side to her, remembers her roots, and can relate to the people she meets. The caravan park was brilliant, it's worth a look.

Oh I saw that on my EPG but didn't realise it was Julie Walters. I thought it was Julia Bradbury!

I'm watching - it's good fun. I agree with the RT reviewer's comment: "Given the choice of a train trip with Michael Portillo, Chris Tarrant or Julie Walters, I'd definitely plump for Julie. I wouldn't learn anything about history, architecture, customs or engines but it would be a nonstop laugh."
Third of only 4 episodes tonight - Devon & Cornwall.

I find Julie very entertaining. I think because she makes it interesting. I like Michael Portillo, but he can be as dry as dust sometimes.
