The trailers have started for the revival, coming in May, with Jeremy Clarkson.
Think this could be fun.
Only running for a week,on consecutive nights, but who knows after that.

I think everyone has somebody they cannot stand at any price. With my mother it was Brucie, with my daughter it's Victoria Beckham, and in my case it's Jeremy Clarkson. I can't abide the man and won't watch anything if he's going to be in it.

Apparently Chris Tarrant turned it down.He said that Millionaire has had it's day and that people were happy to settle for smaller amounts of prize money and not continue to the big prizes thus removing much of the shows appeal and jepoardy.

You knew when somebody would win a million because it was in the newspapers a week in advance, which took away much of the excitement.

I agree with Chris that they tampered too much with the old and loved formula. I don't know if they came under pressure to reduce the phone-in entries, but I do think that must have had something to do with the change in format.
I hope it goes back to the old format. I liked it like that.
I rang in a few times and was short-listed once.!
