My current pet hate is the On the Beach holiday ad. I have a strong urge to slap that smug looking family especially the boy and the father.

Seems that Santander has taken umbrage with those Dominic West Nationwide ads and complained to the advertising standards authority citing that their mocking tone aimed at rival banking/building society services paints an inaccurate picture. Having personally experienced Santander's level of "customer service" I beg to differ!

I have to mute the sound and look away when the Pot Noodle advert comes on. That woman noisily sucking noodles into her mouth is revolting to hear and to watch.🤢

Local branch, pop in and see one of the staff anytime and they phone customer services for you if they can't sort it out from their desks. Still a very personal service. Last time they put the line on speaker phone so the bank staff could also talk when I was getting a bit flummoxed because someone had tried to take money out of my account. |

Plus, the powdered flavourings in things like Pot Noodle, etc, are very high in cholesterol.
