And I'd forgotten about the happening in the street just before his wife arrived home! Surely that was some kind of illusion because her taxi drew up immediately afterwards and if what seemed to happen really had, she and the driver would have seen it. She was far too happy and relaxed to have witnessed such an awful thing....it certainly made me gasp in horror!

She may not have seen anything cos it was a big white van that hit him. She'd only see it stopped in the middle of the road.

It perked up again for the final episode I thought, although overall I've found it patchy. I liked Daisy Haggard's bits (with the jokey sister who pretended not to know her, then pretended to go into spasms).

I gave up on this because the hectic family life really stressed me out! But I am now intrigued by these references to the last episode so may have to iplayer it.
