HellQueen you must have invented nicknames for each character, you do come out with some good 'uns!
So an uneventful sort of break-up then - I didn't miss much! Thanks for filling me in
Looks like Fallon won't be delighting 'Nocasha' by returning to the tea rooms then - but what might Justin be able to help her with? There will surely need to be something in it for him, that's how he normally rolls
And yet again George has shown his mean-spirited side, banning his family from visiting him again. It's about time they took a firmer stand against him instead of turning into over-emotional apologetic jelly whenever he says something nasty to them. They should just go No Contact even if he begs them for support in the future when his inmate 'friends' turn on him!

Sorry to disappoint Mal, but Nocasha and HellQueen are Mustardland nicknames thought up by someone else. I did get kudos on there for naming Ian something when he was sniffing round every fertile woman of his acquaintance to find a surrogate, but can’t even remember it now., 😂😂. Was it The Fat Controller? Might have been.

Interesting comments on TA Podcast from the two serving police officers who are the advisers for Harrison's character and the George storyline. They were saying that the age George is now, 19, is the critical age for prison either to sort him out or brutalise him into becoming a career criminal (like his uncle Clive). Meanwhile the actor who plays Harrison showed himself to be even less likeable than Harrison is, quite an achievement!
We know that George has a conscience and his ghastly behaviour to Susan and Neil is bravado, also that he's likely to ponder what Neil said to him. I haven't lost hope that he will be reformed. I do hope so, I don't really want another resident villain in Ambridge.

Did he really? I may have to listen to the podcast to hear Horrible Harrison! Having said that I might not manage to get through it. I’ve gone right off Harrison, even when trying to support Fallon he sounds controlling! And we all know he really only wants her barefoot and pregnant.

The podcast is interesting, if you accept that they're all there to tell us how marvellous TA is. They've had interesting guests such as Rob Rinder who talked about George's sentencing. The two police officers were good. The next one is a tribute to June Spencer and one of the guests is Simon Williams (Justin) who doesn't like Justin very much!

I just listened to those two you mentioned. Indeed, Harrison was annoying! I still think EF is the wrong host, and she still maintains poor George shouldn’t have been banged up.

Eek! Just listened to the June Spencer tribute podcast. Simon / Justin is sweet. Right at the end, though, there are some voicenotes including one who says she's even more in love with Harrison after hearing that podcast than she was before! Not a trace of sarcasm. No accounting for taste ...

I'm keeping up with the podcasts as they're something I can turn to when there's nothing on the radio I want to listen to! Worth a go, Dippergirl, especially at the end when listeners' various and diverse musical efforts are played (they've been invited to come up with a take on the theme tune to be used for the podcast) Not keen on the dogs 'singing along' though - the poor animals sounded as if they were in some sort of distress!
Helen, you're very optimistic about George - I suppose, like the police advisers said, he can go one of two ways while inside, ie reformed better person or hardened ex-con. Not sure how it's going to work out as (IMO) while George may well be remorseful and putting on a 'tough' act, he does seem to have rather a weak personality - running from responsibilities rather than facing up to them; being influenced by others who aren't exactly desirable as friends; blaming his own family for the consequences of his own actions... Though maybe he just needs to plain old grow up!
I thought Ruth was rather snotty tonight with Fallon wanting to use the farmhouse kitchen - after all, Ruth put the silver wedding job her way in the first place and it wasn't Fallon's fault that the client decided to invite fifty more guests. To be honest, I've never taken to Ruth since I became an Archers fan

I too thought Ruth was snotty. And unlike her to be quite so unpleasant. She could have refused without being quite so Lady of the Manor about it. And what bride could expect a full, professional wedding reception with an extra 20 guests on Tuesday after booking it on Sunday?
Oh, rereading Mal’s post, if it’s 50 extra it’s even more ridiculous. And it’s a silver wedding do is it?

Nonsense, as usual! After today at least we know Helen is not going to buy Kirsty's house, so Kirsty will put it on the open market, which she should have done in the first place, and cue more angst as Helen has to find somewhere to live. Oh, yes, the farmhouse! Would that we were all so blessed.

I'm pretty sure it's a silver wedding bash, Marion - and your 'Lady of the Manor' gave me another
Helen will be OK, she can always move in with Tony and Pat, who might well be moving out in the unspecified future according to Tony's latest idea/pipe dream - still trying to get my head round that one...
Was genuinely dismayed when it initially seemed that 'demon in feline form' Hilda had been knocked down and killed by, of all things, a vet's car (poor Jakob!) But it transpired she had a lookalike not fitted with a microchip, so Hilda lives to scratch another day

Loved the way HellQueen made it sound all Kirsty’s fault that she wasn’t buying the house, rather than her own decision.

D'you think HellQueen has a touch of the 'professional victim' about her, or am I being too harsh?
And Emma saves the day when Fallon has to lose Chelsea's much-needed help due to illness - why would Emma pitch in so willingly, is she still trying to win back Fallon's friendship? she irritated me quizzing overburdened Brad about George and putting more emotional pressure on him to maintain contact with the wretched jailbird and continue to run his video business. There's a passive-aggressive side to Emma that I am not caring for...

Well Emma is certainly aggressive!😡😂 Not so much of the passive element though.
And Ruth, after praising Fallon for making the party a triumph, immediately rewards her by saying so David and I have decided we can never hire you again! 😂😂. Not to mention making Fallon take photos of the kitchen so she knew EXACTLY where to put the pots and pans after using!
