New 10-episode third series starts on Friday 18 Sep, 8.00 pm Channel 5. Excellent news. I hope it is as bright and breezy as the previous ones. I could do with some of that.

Series 3 would you believe? I love this lady, she's a good presenter, and not afraid to 'muck in' with anything. Looking forward to it. There really are hidden gems of her homeland.

Lovely show! And she visited the kelpies, which I had only ever seen before in the photo in The Green Room so that was great.

Great start as ever. The Falkirk Wheel and the Kelpies were on one of Tim & Pru's 'Great Canal Journeys' a few years ago, but with Susan we got a fuller explanation of the Falkirk Wheel - now I understand how it works and why it uses so little energy. Also I don't believe Tim & Pru actually went inside a Kelpie.

The Falkirk wheel is quite the tourist attraction - despite being built as a functional piece of engineering.
But we Scots will sit and look at anything that moves, particularly if its free!

Yes, it is, as are the Kelpies – hardly a secret, either of them. I hadn't heard of Borthwick Castle but a quick Google reveals that it's not far from the Edinburgh City Bypass and used these days for corporate and private events. The splendid parish church in the middle of nowhere is a giveaway that there's something important in the area.
Love the programme, hate the title!

I hate the title too, not to mention the number of times she uses the bloody word secret in the programme. Especially as most of the things we see, whilst fantastic, are less then secret it seems!

Wonderful piece of work are the kelpies. I too had only seen them in the Green Room. Great show last night.
