The only friend of Jamie Oliver that I can think of is Jimmy Doherty, but that isn't because of anything to do with the picture; it is simply the only one I can remember.

Yes it is Jimmy taken at his farm restaurant when we visited his farm for a day out.

Photobucket is undergoing some site maintenance at the moment. It is disrupting some of the links.

A rule on size of images:
Please keep the image size to 320x251 if possible, depending on format of the picture.
No large pics as they can cause problems.
Thank you!

I do love David Austin roses Alathea. My problem is that the rain seems to arrive as they come out and spoils them. This year I mistakenly sprayed my roses with what I thought was greenfly killer and I think it must have been weed killer gaah . So I picked off all the dead leaves and pruned them all back, and now they are sprouting from low down 47b20s0 . Of course I won't get any colour till our Indian summer!

Oh,bad luck with your roses. You need two watering cans, like wot I have got. Then you won't make mistakes. I agree about the rain. All of my Peonies and roses were beautiful for two days, then came the storms. They were all sodden and brown in no time. I am still dead heading.Such a shame.Still,I did manage to get a few photos before the devastation.

No it doesn't. Lumix told me that earlier so he's going to do an FAQ for us as he knows a lot more about it than I do!

No it doesn't. Lumix told me that earlier so he's going to do an FAQ for us as he knows a lot more about it than I do! I am making mine smaller anyway, so that they don't cause so many problems for people using tablets and phones. I use the method I described above. At the moment, it seems that you can upload images up to 1 MB, is there a way to make that maximum smaller, so that people HAVE to pay attention, and post smaller files? When you make your avatar, for example, it says that you can post an image up to 1 MB and it will shrink it down, that just seems silly when you think of the size of the image actually being displayed. I'll give you an example of the saving that I mean. The original file from which I took my avatar was 1140x1048 pixels, with a file size of 923.9 kB which, though it is absurdly large, would be acceptable for use as an avatar. When I shrank it down for use on the board as my avatar, I took it down to 320x294 pixels with a file size of 37.1 kB. That is an incredible saving, and for what it needs to do, it does nothing to the quality seen on the screen. It also demonstrates the saving you are talking about.
