Would it be worth doing two threads? One for bingers and one for waiters? I’d vote for two, but probably I’d be on my own on the waiters?  I also plan on waiting, sleepyp. |

Another waiter here. Caught episode 1 last night and thoroughly enjoyed it.
I agree about TV reviewers seeming to hate TV! Camilla Long in the Sunday Times is very sniffy. And she often reviews after watching ahead so we get a spoiler, which I can’t believe from a professional (although personally I am not too bothered by them, but some are).

Introducing my brother and sil to this programme from series 1. It has been on too late for them to watch live in France and of course they cannot access I-Player.
Needless to say they are loving it!

Well that was excellent, and I was very worried at one point in case the sister wasn’t rumbled! I keep reading that this is definitely the final series, 😡. What a bummer, I could watch it for ages.

I can’t remember but reckon it was in a TV mag (from the Sunday Times perhaps) plus somewhere online. In fact I thought it said the BBC had decided not to renew it. But hopefully that was fake news!
Now I have just googled this and maybe I misread an article in the RT which said it really doesn’t need a fourth series because the third ends in the perfect place. And the internet is just saying the decision to renew hasn’t yet been taken.

I think I read that article too and wondered if the writer had actually seen all the episodes  They can’t leave it without our knowing more about the Captain, about Mary - we know very little about her really - and the end of Kitty’s story, what did her sister do?? Or was it in fact not her fault? Probably not much can be said about Robin, but you never know! |
