I don't know how much of a tour there is but I saw this today at Wimbledon. We saw the previous tour a few years ago (which I thought was great) and apparently MB has refreshed it for the 21st Century. Don't ask me what has changed, but I did prefer this version. It was a lot punchier I thought, the swans were more, well swanny really!, and I thought this company generally danced better. The last time we saw it Swan Senior was excellent but didn't have so much of a connection to the other swans. Big standing ovation all round. I think it is well worth the trip.

The Olivier Awards had a short performance from Swan Lake as Bourne was getting a Lifetime(?) Achievement award. I'm no ballet expert but I find the male swans more emotional moving that the female ones.

I have found the whole ballet on Youtube! I watched it this morning (I get up early) and was enthralled. Richard Winsor as Stranger/Swan was superb.
I will post the link later.

Here is the YouTube link for Swan Lake. I seem to have started it more than half way through, sorry! It is easy to move to the beginning.
