Just started watching. Do you think her mispronunciation of Kraftwerk was an error or a mistake of the character?

The character I think.
How many 80s song titles can the shoe-in to the dialogue???
Great fun though and a terrific cast. Lovely to see Cathy Tyson and Patsy Kensit again.

Great episode to open with. Loved the music and the 80s references. Were there more songs in the dialogue? That passed me by. Also nice to see Rob Brydon acting again.

"Should I Stay or Should I Go" was in there and I spotted a few others which I have forgotten overnight!
One thing puzzled me - exactly why did they bump off their original flat mate? Was it just greed over selling the house? Seemed a bit of a stretch when they had gained the property with him via squatters rights and were all about to make a fortune.

He'd been there longer than they had so the squatters' rights were his, not theirs? I don't really understand how that worked I loved the first series but this was even better

I enjoyed this too. Agree nice to see Rob Brydon acting again. Looks like it's going to be complete stories each week. Still can't take to the female lead though. Looking forward to next week's offering.

I missed the first few minutes last night and, in catching up, realised I'd actually missed quite a lot as I fell asleep! Not the fault of the show, just very tired.
I know it's not the point of the story (unless it was and I've missed the significance) but the Sunday Times article about the four friends was full of typos that I wouldn't have thought likely in that publication!
Many years ago I worked in a residential school for business people outside Bath for a while. We used to gather on the terrace on Sunday evening when they arrived to watch the balloons from Bristol wafting overhead. By the time they reached Bath they were quite high – really beautiful. But you wouldn't get me up in one! I'm with Dodds on that one.
Wasn't that why they bumped him off, so that they could assert their squatters' rights? I agree that was glossed over somewhat, and I'm sure the original owner of the building would have had rights too. Maybe not though, that was the start of people taking over unoccupied buildings that had been bought as an investment with no intention of living in them.

Meant to add, I watched this on the STV player ... and there were no adverts! None at all. Does that meant the show isn't considered attractive enough for advertisers? I haven't subscribed to any ad blocker.
A couple of other random thoughts – the CGI of the balloon flight was awful! It reminded me of Mary Poppins, a fabulous film with good special effects for its time, over 50 years ago!
The four friends' acting was of course hammy as their characters were meant to be, but really good all the same, especially Rupert Graves who normally plays rotters. I loved his specs which really changed his appearance.
If the purpose of the enterprise was to kill Frankie, what would they have done if he hadn't take a taxi to get there? Were we meant to think it was opportunistic, given that the real murderer was not one of them?

I think so, they weren't best pleased to see him arrive, and they couldn't know there'd be a problem with the balloon I like MacDonald, now that she and Dodds have reached a position where they understand each other Much more humour. I enjoyed the scene where he said he was quite put out that she thought he was like the Rob Brydon character He has a wonderfully expressive face

Finally watched it - there's suddenly far too much for me on Sundays! I found it barmy but enjoyable.
Yes, that whole line didn't really work did it - plus we'd seen how surprised (though delighted!) the four were to have finally got rid of him.

This series has been well received generally by critics but all have stated it goes on too long. 90 minutes is adequate if they never intend to throw in another corpse, so to speak.

Why does one of the girls keep asking where the victim was found - and being denied the info?
It would be all over the news/internet that a body had been found on a Bath railway line...
Watching none the less - the city is gorgeous and the central characters have charm.
It is just the plots that are infuriating.

I actually really enjoyed that one. Yes it was daft. And yes it was obvious who the murderer was pretty quickly. But the way it played out was wonderful, I thought.
And Box Hill tunnel is a great setting. Although I have to admit to thinking about Being Human before Brunel
And the comment about Corston being a hot spot for UFO sightings is true. Although it has a lot to do with the RAF using Filton airport, which is just up the road, as a test site for their planes. When I worked at the UWE, I spent a lot of lunchtimes watching them test the fighter jets.
