Apparently, Denly got himself in the record books with his 12. He has managed to get the lowest highest score in an England Test innings, ever.

Another thing he can boast is that his 12 was the third highest first innings score by a batsman on either side. That is perhaps the more interesting thing. In reality, both sides had poor first innings. The big difference is Labuschange who has applied himself to the task at hand properly.
