Waltons / Little House on the Prairie

I read the Little House and following books. I got them as a boxed set from an Aunt. The series veered away a little and created new scenarios but it would have to because the books aren't that big and aren't padded out with lots of side stories etc. I would say they are teen fiction rather than child fiction. Of course the Ingalls move around a lot following a father who constantly followed his latest get rich quick scheme and never quite managed it so they don't stay in the house on the prairie in the books.
