I enjoy these as well. Some of the ones from Rymans are quite expensive, Sherlock, Fantastic Beasts and Doctor Who were £10, plus They don't interest me and a lot of the others I've seen have been flowery and quite fine. The Works had some good ones. One of doodle posters that was about A3 size.
But my favourites are 'Doodle pattern book' from Poundland. They're usually mixed in with the kids colouring and art things. They're about 20cmx20cm mandalas with a more symetrical pattern. I buy a pack of 5 black gel pens and just do them as black and white. A good place to start as they're cheap and have 200 patterns....They've also got dot-to-dot books, these are quite relaxing and addictive.

I know what you mean, I was doing my book for about 2hrs a night for about 1-2wks and then I haven't picked it up since, and then I'll start again when the mood takes me and I'll become a bit obsessed!
The Range has a good range of handy crafts including the colouring books and The prices aren't to bad.

I got a colouring book for Christmas (after a big hint) called Spiroglyphics. It's a spiral pattern that doesn't look like anything but as you colour it in it starts to reveal a picture. The book I have is 'Rock Icons', but there's also 2 others available called 'Animals' and 'Around The World'. They're about £9.99, which is pretty expensive for 20 pictures (they're about the size and shape of a vinyl record) but this copy was brought from The Works for £4, which is a lot better. I'll post a couple below, they do look better when viewed from a bit of a distance, arms length, otherwise it blurs into nothing. I do like colouring in, its quite relaxing, but I do prefer to just use one colour, so these are prefect.
This is Elvis part way done
Jimi Hendrix fully completed.

Wow, I'm impressed with those prof. I like the idea of monochrome.

Wow, I'm impressed with those prof. I like the idea of monochrome. I do prefer black and white or just one colour, I'm a bit indecisive so it eliminates me having to choose colours... and it's always a pain when you start with a colour and it runs out and then end up having to buy a whole pack of pens just for the one colour! It's easier to buy a 5 or 10pack of all black pens. They are really relaxing. Once I've finished the Rock Icons I might get one of the other books, maybe Around The World, as I've really enjoyed these. I found another book on Amazon called Dots and Lines, and it's one colour pictures where they're made up of different size dots and Lines and once coloured create a picture. And geometric patterns can be good for one, two or three colours.
