Spitting Image has been revived with some great puppets, judging from the photos. But I think the writers are going to find it really hard to say anything that we haven't already heard from the real people. It's getting harder and harder to tell the difference between truth and satire these days.

I have had more of a think about this, and am beginning to feel that this might be a mistake, a bit like what happened as a consequence of the prime minister having been on Have I Got News for You. What we need at the moment is something that strips away anything that he can hide behind, and show him and his cronies up for what they really are.
