Linguini with clams, mixed salad with all sorts in it and an Italian dressing. Washed down with Cava.  |

Currently nibbling on a couple of slices of Austrian smoky cheese. That should keep me going until dinnertime (when we shall have a takeaway of some sort).

Today, at a family lunch at an Italian restaurant, I had a fiery Tuscan beef stew (tender beef, delicious), and a tasty Tuscan salad, plus a large glass of wine (well, it was my birthday treat, although my actual birthday is on Wednesday).

Today we had a rack of lamb, new and roast potatoes, cauliflower, broccoli, butter beans, mushy peas, Yorkshire pud, mint sauce & gravy .. .yum yum

Has nobody eaten since Thursday??? We were out today and had a sit-down Chinese on the way home - Singapore fried noodles for him, garlic chicken for me and a shared bottle of wine. Made Irish coffees at home to drink in the back yard - a beautiful still evening for sitting out,

Today had lovely home made tomato soup, with our own tomatoes in, plus a toasted pitta bread for lunch. Black Cherry yogurt with coconut added, for Pud.
Tonight had a day off by just browning some chicken breasts in a pan and adding "French" Chicken Tonight sauce - eaten with our own green beans yum!

Chicken and mushroom pie, from a lovely pie shop in Frodsham (Cheshire), with veg. Bit warm for a pie really, but today we went for a walk at Delamere Forest, and saw some spectacular views (seven counties). Frodsham is on our way back, sort of.
