Spooks

Well I have finally reached the end having had a bit of a break around Christmas from my one episode a day habit so it's taken me a while to catch up on my recordings. Oh poor Harry. That was such a cruel way to end the story and it came as a terrible shock to me.

I've been rewatching what I assume is another rerun on Drama. Coming to the end now. One of the things that's obvious when you binge-watch is how prescient a lot of the storylines are to real world events – I suppose if you imagine the worst case terrorist scenarios you're bound to get a lot of it right – and how very much the credibility level dropped in the final couple of series. Poor old Lucas!

I also wondered how on earth they got away with the Diana episode from series 4, which was pulled from the rerun but is now scheduled to run in the early hours of this coming Sunday morning. There's nothing there that hasn't been suggested for real, but I'm amazed they were allowed to broadcast it when the series was originally shown. Unless they weren't of course, I don't remember it. Tour de force as usual from the main cast and Lindsay Duncan.
