I thought that. All that fuss about his passport and they suddenly are searching the caves!
Why did Sam go into the caves anyway? Did she tell him it came up at Heathrow?

His face is vaguely familiar and he seems to have done a lot of comedy with Noel Fielding so I must have seen him in a bit part in something. Doubt he'll be doing any more straight acting though.

I watched episode 1 which started quite well but I decided I hated everyone by the end and couldn’t care what happened to them. I thought the husband was a terrible actor, really terrible, and a loathsome individual. Any husband asking his wife to say she did his murder deserves a swift divorce in my book. I watched the clip for episode 2 then went to the end of episode 4 to see how it panned out but couldn’t spend 4 hours on it. Very poor.

(She told him it was the only way they could get to Fitz - who was going to get them out - because there would be roadblocks).

The only praiseworthy thing about it was the scenery. It was filmed in Ireland and the cliff top and coastal views looked to me very much like Howth Head just outside Dublin. My relatives live close by and when I visit (when I could!) we always go for a walk up there. Since it was supposed to be set in the West Country (Cornwall?) it's a pity nobody thought to block out the Irish diamond shaped road signs in the driving scenes though.

There was quite a lot of chat on Twitter about that. The Irish car regs were an obvious clue!

There was quite a lot of chat on Twitter about that. The Irish car regs were an obvious clue! Bizarrely though, they were Northern Irish whereas the road signs seem to have been the ones you see in the Republic! I've never been to the North so they may be like that there for all I know. I DO know they aren't like that in mainland Britain though. It all contributes to the feeling of scraping the bottom of the barrel to find something that was just thrown together without much thought. Poor Sally Lindsey, she must regret being involved.

I think that goes for pretty much the whole cast - I think it's evident in their performances. Certainly Elaine Cassidy, who has been impressive in much better productions.

Years ago I read an actor's autobiography and he said that most actors know when they are in a dud whilst making it. So the only way to get more work is to act like you aren't. Give it your best and then keep your fingers crossed people notice. I think it was either David Niven or Peter Ustinov
