I don’t usually watch it but have recorded it to see how Oti and Brendan do. I also find it’s better to have a FF button so the 90 minutes comes down to about 40!

This opening is supposed to be spectacular but the fake violinists have ruined it for me. And I wouldn't normally comment but has Holly had a breast reduction?

I think she was less “boosted” perhaps than she has to be in some of those frocks. I don’t know how they can wear off the shoulder on an ice rink!
I thought Brendan was very good. I thought Oti came over as exuberant but more controlled than Motsi usually is! Bez was just awful, poor chap, can’t believe he got through.
The audience ruined it for me, as usual with this show. In the opening dance they were going bonkers for the most basic move. Well I’ve seen the two I wanted so that’s it for me now. Oh, I also thought Kimberley did very well, and Ria was pretty good too so that’s a shame for her.

I was a bit shocked she was in the DO. I thought it was going to be the young Olympian as most people won't know who he is.

Well the new regs now say you only need 5 days off, so maybe a bit like Strictly they'll give him a week to recover.

He wouldn’t be skating next week anyway, it’s the second group next week, so they are all new skaters. Of course he won’t be able to get much practice.
