Spitting Image often had poor scripts but it had its good bits too.
Tonight's Newszoids was appallingly unfunny. Gave up half way through I'm afraid. If it got better, too late, it's lost me as a viewer.

I used to enjoy Spitting Image. I find this a poor imitation...and not as funny. I also gave up on it.

Gosh - I love it! Donald Trump as Forest Gump? "Life is like a box of chocolates - too many brown and black ones and not enough white".
Theresa May's death stare - and the film Despicable May.
NHS Operation - a board game for junior doctors
James Corden's car pool karaoke - where he sings over all the guests.
Adele unable to say goodbye to anyone from the postie to the plumber without breaking into a heart rending song.
It doesn't all work - but the sketches are so short it hardly matters, there's another one along in a minute.

I'd single most of those out as my least favourite Just shows we all laugh at different things.

It was a bit weak and obvious but watchable, my favourite character is bovver boy George now joined by his cleverer sister

It seemed to be worse than the first series, which I thought was OKish. It suffers from the same problem as Spitting Image - no matter how good the voice performers are, the scripts are weak.

I did think the Trump Hair as Grumpy Cat that spits and hisses at anyone who doesn't agree with him was funny but otherwise it doesn't appeal, especially the entire Cambridge family who aren't funny at all for me.

2nd of the new series tonight, for those who (like me) find it amusing!
Oy oy saveloy! as Prince George would (allegedly) say....

Had the misfortune to have a mouthful of tea when the Oliva Coleman puppet was joined at the crime scene by Sarah Lancashire from Happy Valley.
Let's just say I sprayed the cat.
Made me LOL - as did the appearance of Luther, getting ANGRY FOR NO REASON.
The Vaz washing powder sketch was good too.

I gave up watching the first episode, and having read the various comments here decided to give it another go. I'm glad I did because it was very funny and clever.

Such shows usually take a week to hit their stride - and catch up with the news. This week they were on to Cameron's resignation - and search for a new job. Peaky Bakers was BRILLIANT - as were the 'auditions' for a new presenter for Bake Off when it goes to 4. Noel Edmonds, Chris Evans and Michael Gove ("I'm not allowed near knives") were amongst those taking part. I love the slavering Gregg Wallace puppet. Prince George and partner in crime Princess Charlotte trying to sell Royal treasures on Antiques Road show. Not every sketch works, but there are plenty in there and you are bound to smile at least once. Mrs Crown's Boys....

I was going to watch this on Catch Up, but my TIVO box is playing up and won't load i-Player. If I do watch it, it will have to be on my lappy, which isn't the best experience. I'll need to let Virgin know my box isn't working properly.
