Agreed, Bidie. The new ones were tricky as I don’t often listen to “current” radio. I have to keep reminding myself that I’m old enough that what I see as a memorable classic is ancient history to a lot of the contestants.

Good round with "gestation time of animals". Tends to be the smaller the animal the more likely - but not always.

I'm definitely shouting at the Harry Potter fella. Getting very Lady Bracknell. GET ON WITH IT!

The first woman was dreadful, wasn't she? But they did much better on the final bridge.

Considering they are against the clock they should know NOT to dither!

This ain't doing my blood pressure any good! Although I admit the airlines question was hard.

I would have really struggled with that one. Whoever is setting the questions is quite cunning!

That and the cheese one were pretty tough.

This is a good addition to the tea time quiz stable, imo. Yes, it is "Blockbusters" - but you have to use your legs, but the contestants so far have all been likeable and the questions are varied. Won't surprise me if it ends up with a Saturday evening slot.Compare this to the shambles of the Gordon Ramsay quiz... As predicted, it is on BBC1 at 4.45 tonight! (Saturday). I don't think Pointless made the move until the celeb editions began.

The natural impetus to go forward is doing for a lot of them.
Ross is having a hard time convincing them that the lie reveal is at all helpful - it never has been.
The bingo calls would have done for me completely.

I think the lie reveal is useless but the chance to take a breather and think about the next move is welcome.

Great opening round on Dickens characters - so many of which have incredibly weird names.

I was very impressed with him! I would have struggled with that cos I don't read Dickens.
