I haven’t seen the match but the ladies did well to get there. Commiserations in being second but congratulations in getting to the finals

Sympathies to the England team but from what I saw of the match Spain fully deserved their victory.

Given the schism between the coach and many of the Spanish players, they did extremely well to win imo. They must have great strength in depth because a number of players were not selected because they had dared to criticise the coach; there was a letter of complaint signed by 15 of them. He sounds a bit of a git if the rumours online are true. So they did well to pull together as a team, and the Lionesses did well to get to the final. A shame we didn’t win though.

Earps was apparently angry at the launch of the tournament that Nike (Adidas??) said they would not be making an England women's goalie replica shirt. The FA did not ensure this would happen.
She spoke to a copyright lawyer and realised the sport's manufacturer had no rights to the shirt.
So she produced her own and did a social media release to her 1 million followers. They're selling like hotcakes.
It's things like this that make you realise how hard it is for these women sometimes. She's probably one of the best goalies in the world but they didn't think she was worth a shirt.
Oh and good for her in making her own version!! I hope she makes a load of money.
