Anyone given this a go? It's quite good in the old British farce idea (affairs, missing funds, frisky old ladies, feuding sisters and various mix ups) and some of the lines give more than a nod to Victoria Wood.

If nothing else it is a lovely walk down memory lane to the late 80s/early 90s with a super soundtrack, shoulder pads, laughable technology - which was the best at the time - and big hairdos.

I’ve seen episode 1 and didn’t mind it but didn’t enjoy as much as other things she has done like Car Share and the coach mysteries. Tin hat on, I think I laughed more at Queen of Oz! But it was entertaining.

No, I don’t care for it either. A shame, as I like Conleth Hill, but I’m out

I've watched the first two episodes and am enjoying it.

It took me a couple of episodes to begin to enjoy it, which is often the way with comedies these days.

The sisters together are a wonderful double act. And the supporting characters, like Julie, Parkers useless PA and the old people from the home are very good.
Older sister is going through the menopause and comes up with some wonderful observations about getting older, particularly when advising her sibling to carry out a break in at Parkers business by pretending to be a cleaner.
"you're invisible after 50. You could rob a bank and no one would notice as long as you wore a pair of marigolds".

Sounds as though I should give episode 2 a chance tonight, I wasn’t sure after last week Found myself pining for Car Share I will never forget Conleth Hill's performance as Elsie the Smurf being given a lift home in Car Share. That was the first time I had come across him and it was an absolute tour de force. I would love to watch it again but it doesn't seem to be available on any of the free streaming platforms unfortunately.
