They know it's not a bomb, but that doesn't mean there isn't one somewhere on the lines and of course there's the worry it will start to make all trains stop. One thing never mentioned is that fact that with all this disruption going on there would be people all over the country stuck on trains or at stations.

That’s very true Beverley. They act as though only 12 people have been affected by this. And when the friend rings Abby from Victoria there is hardly anyone about looking at the sign. But despite all that, and I’m not even going to consider how the hacker could bypass the physical handle you need to keep hold of to start and drive the train, it’s a good yarn I think. Since leaving Peaky Blinders Joe Cole has done very well for himself hasn’t he? I last saw him as the husband of the woman who worked for Anne Frank’s father in a series on Drama, and I enjoyed that as well.

It was alluded to in Episode 1 when Abby and her partner were trying to get back into London from the airport and were stuck on a stationary train. I forget exactly how she got back to HQ now but every now and again throughout the series we saw her partner at a very overcrowded station.

They forced the doors open and jumped off the train, but you're not going to do that in the middle of Derbyshire at midnight are you. There was never a senior level conversation about evacuating trains, moving them to sidings and disabling them.

Well I’ve finished it and enjoyed it. And I didn’t guess it! I suspected nearly everyone at some point, mind. Mostly I suspected Saj because he was such a strop merchant, as were many of them, 😂😂. I even warmed to Abby by the end.
I didn’t think Victoria looked crowded when the friend was on her phone but might have missed it. I actually thought London seemed surprisingly quiet given what was occurring. And I didn’t understand how that train which was coming in from Oxford to the north was suddenly approaching Victoria from Clapham Junction, to the south. Perhaps I missed a circuit of Greater London in all the panic. Still it was a good yarn.

Yes it was, taken in the spirit it was meant - IMO, there was far too much criticism (thinking of a reader's letter I saw in my TV magazine yesterday) panning the series for having appalling dialogue, being unrealistic, etc etc. As said further back in the thread, it's a drama, not a documentary!
