Is this on 5* when if finally hits Freeview? I hope they are planning to carry on with it, and hopefully get the spin-off too. The channels 5 don't seem to have that many exciting US series these days. I watch Chicago PD (saw Fire on Pick), Castle and NCIS LA/NO. Nothing new though. Hopefully someone will get Chicago Med. Sorry! Gone a bit off topic!!

The Walking Dead used to be on channel 5, then it was shunted to 5USA, then they dropped it and it is on Fox.
Series 7 starts on 24th October on Fox.
Chicago Med (series 2) starts on 23rd October on Universal channel.
I am a big fan off all three Chicago strands. It seems odd they are on three different channels.

I think Channel 5 used to air it after it had its satellite TV showing, so perhaps a year after the event! Like with Castle and the Chicagos (I saw Chicago Fire on Pick and it then popped up on 5USA). Presumably they are cheaper to buy then. So I live in hope that the Walking Dead will still pop up for a "secondary" airing. Not that I can remember where the story had reached!

AMC have handed out a ten episode series order to an as-yet untitled third entry in the franchise that will feature two young female protagonists.
The new spin-off will focus on the first generation to come-of-age in the apocalypse as we know it. Some will become heroes. Some will become villains. In the end, all of them will be changed forever. Grown-up and cemented in their identities, both good and bad.

Alexa Mansour, Nicolas Cantu, and Hal Cumpston have been confirmed as the show's leads, joined by Annet Mahendru and Aliyah Royale joined the cast.
