Yup, I can't stand Avani. Why oh why oh why do Nugget and Avani respect their granddad so much when they know - yes, they really know - he was rather willing to sh*g their mother?! Gah!

Well, they seem to blame their mother for that don’t they? I think the mother has been portrayed as a money-grabbing nympho, whereas Nish was the courtly gentlemen who turned down her advances. It isn’t helped by the fact that Ravi totally buys into that narrative too.

Had to smile at the little lad playing the missing grandchild - he clearly has considerable Thespian ambitions. The actors playing Suki and Nish both had to work round his happy chatter in their scenes.  |

Considering how abysmal the recent youf additions have been, I thought he was brilliant! Normally when an adult goes to hug a nipper they stand there clearly looking over at their parent or whatever. He just threw himself into Suki’s arms, 😂😂. Let’s keep him, please. And he would probably let you touch his TAXI. Speaking of which, we have been spared Kojo for a while, thank God.

...and Penny who was happy for her cousin to be caught carrying her drugs.
Tye was certainly enjoying scribbling away in the cafe scene with his grandparents. Sometimes the camera left him out of the shot, but he does seem to have gelled with the actors which is lovely. I felt Suki was really laughing at several points...
If he stays, he will have an affair with Sharon and a punch up with Phil in the near future.
I do like Barry, the younger of the new Mitchells. He reminds me of Lofty - clever but socially awkward. It will be interesting to see how his character develops.

Also Amy, who shouldn’t have been in the bar in the first place, and had been told that by Penny. Also, I know it must be totally awful for her to be in the wheelchair, but she’s not going to be in it forever is she? I thought she had cracked her pelvis and needed to do physio to get her walking again, whereas Penny, thanks to Jack, is in hers for life. I’m surprised Penny, never one to hold back 😂, hasn’t reminded her of both those things.
