The second series of No Offence will premiere on Channel 4 on Wednesday January 4th at 9pm.
From Shameless creator Paul Abbott, No Offence is set in a crumbling cop shop on the wrong side of Manchester and tells the story of a group of police officers on the front line who go above and beyond to being the criminal element to justice.
These officers test the biggest challenge yet when they discover that there is a serial killer on the loose.

Oh brilliant! I love this. It's so sharp and funny.
But.... wasn't there a serial killer in the last one?

Yes, but he got deaded, so they will need another one. The first series was a bit gruesome in parts, so I'm not sure whether to tune in or not. Joanna Scanlan is brilliant, mind. Did anyone see it last night and can advise me on the gore level?

And it's a bit gory but nowhere near the level of Bones.

Really glad this is back. I love the chemistry between Viv, Joy and Dinah. I'm very squeamish but this programme is so good I cope (won't watch Silent Witness for example). I think Joanna Scanlon is a very underrated actress and I hope they hurl awards at her for No Offence.

Joanna Scanlon did a fabulous scene coming out of the shower, wrapped in a towel, and drying her "bits" in a most unladylike manner, which made the DCI turn away in embarrassment. What a great actress. {Spoiler}
Hope she isn't charged with what occurred in the last series.

{Spoiler}I hope so too. I think the newest of the trio is starting to work out though. Copper's nose kicking in!

Being a geriatric amnesiac who watched after a glass or two, I remembered what happened in the final ep of series one but not to who! <blush>
Have read the episode synopsis and see Joanna Scanlon/Viv had a similar scene to the shower in the first. That time with a breath/ mouth freshener spray and a lady bits freshener spray, yes, got them the wrong way round, priceless!

Holy hell that was close! My heart was in my mouth then. Why are they always so far away that it takes them ages to move in? Great episode though!

Well to be fair it was less than a minute, it just felt like longer!

Wow, cracking ending (especially the Helicopter scene) I do hope there will be another series. Did you notice the way Viv was looking at Spike when he was changing his shirt at the end? It made me think that maybe the ground was being prepared for another series in which a relationship between them is on the cards.
