Oh dear,it doesn't get any better does it? We have been away and Mrs. Owl watched it last night on catch up seeing as Casualty was missing. The writers seem to be turning Gail into the village idiot with all the stupid stunts she pulls.Her two sons seem to be taking after her. As for the only talking when holding the statue, then said statue smacking Audrey on the back of her head,it was pure Laural and Hardy.Their two lawyers ,who couldn't lawyer their way out of a paper bag, should be defrocked because they seem to be as bent as a nine bob note. As for the rest, I can't remember it. I think Gail's been playing the street idiot for quite a while. For so long in fact I've forgotten what she was like before. |

I've been watching the repeats of 1990's episodes (they started showing the ones from late 1980s) on ITV3 and Gail is such a lovely, sweet lady in these episodes. I think it's when when Martin leaves her that things go to pot!

That guy who hired Memememichelle always plays baddies, so I'm wondering if there's more to come.
Who owns the community centre? Is it the council or a private company? Surely as a community centre it had groups who were meeting there on various days for group activities, knitting, home work club etc, but where do they go now? The place isn't suitable as a factory, it's preventing the community using it and they're in Manchester, I'm sure there's an empty by not knocking about!

Is Sarah trying to get Mick removed from he factory by using his brain injury?
I don't understand how she'd do that? I'd assume she'd get all the other shareholders, which are now The rest of the factory since Carla have her shares away, to do a vote of no confidence or something to that effect. But if it was agreed that he wasn't capable of running the business as the part owner wouldnt he be able to appoint someone on his behalf to look after the factory, and wouldnt he choose Leanne? Surely Sarah can't just take over. As Sarah is on bad terms with Nick because of David going to prison, their gran being swindled and their mom running away and the fact they're half siblings, I'm not sure a judge would necessarily back her if Nick explained the bad blood and wanted someone of his choosing.

Did anyone watch Kevin go flying? We watched again on +1! My brother thought it was a stunt man but pretty sure it was him. It didn't look scripted but looks like they kept it in.

I find this quads storyline ridiculous and stupid.

Yeah,it was definately Michael Le Vall, you can the "umph" as he goes. I assume they all said "were not filming that again (we don't have time for one with going 6eps a week)" especially as they did a bit less traditional camera work on it with tracking etc. I think they just added the last scene which made it work well.
I don't mind Paul now, but he does seem to scrunch him face up a lot when he's angry and goes full scale Manc with the accent, but bearable. The mother is awful. Is she supposed to be Corries Karen, a bit rough but will turn out to a good 'un with a troubled past. The quads is going to to be torture.
...actually what storylines are there at the moment that are big or serious. Gary, is that it? Steve & Tim and the unicorn. Roy and the cafe. Kirk being a rock star. A hit hot tub in Sallys garden. Maria and Ali (and anyone with a pulse.) Terrible at the moment.

Haven't watched this since that ridiculous palaver with the roof fall in. That girl shouting for help and all those people around and no one heard her. Couldn't bear any more of the other crying so just stopped watching.
Don't miss it.
