I have just watched a mini-series on Now TV called The Last Weekend, starring Rupert Penry Jones and Shaun Evans. My goodness Shaun was a nasty piece of work in that. The acting was superb but the story was very strange.

I don't know about the rest of the country, but I see at least 3 Morris Men displays every year. There's the Woodchurch Morris Men outside the British Lion in Folkestone every June / July. The same troup perform outside The Ship in Sandgate a little earlier in the year, and another troup performs at the Faversham Hop Festival in September. I usually join in!
I would have posted some pics from Photobucket, but the site's not working!

I didn't realise it was Shaun Evans in the role ( Being more taken up with the rather fanciable Mr Penry-Jones at the time.)

Never mind, easily done! The Lost Weekend was an old film with Ray Milland about an alcoholic!

IIRC Last Weekend was pretty bland and unexciting.
BTW WPC Truelove! Is that the worst name ever or is there an injoke I'm not quite getting? Strange, Bright, Thursday etc
Miranda you've replied to my post but there's just a liitle box saying S201, not sure what that is....

This makes up for Vera finishing. Another good, long detective story to enjoy on Sunday evenings - hooray.
