Not been much said on here for nearly a month.
Is it going through one of those periods where nothing match happens, just same old ,same old, going round in circles?

I think all soaps go through these leaner times. I'm not really a Kim Tate fan, so all the stuff happening with her is boring me. She's so different on the classic episodes on ITV3, she's relatively normal, wants a baby with Frank, is setting up her stud farm. I'm years to come, after the plane crash, I think is when it became a bit madder, and she became more and more 'evil'.
And the new Any doesn't do anything for me either, because I wasn't watching the show during the first Amy! (We watched for years, then we stopped and now I started to watch again)

I was a big Kim fan but that was 20 years ago. Now, she just comes across as a Pantomime villain!
Don’t have any time for Amy, and I can’t stand Kerry.

Yeah she is a bit pantomime, I don't know what Graham sees in her. I think maybe he's realising, or I hope hes realising, that Kim isn't worth losing a promising relationship with Megan and losing Joe for.

Meanwhile in Tate land,Kim turns from nasty, into loving mother within seconds,a long lost hardly mentioned son is in the picture.

It seems obvious he doesn’t want anything to do with her doesn’t it.

Will her son turn out to be a lovely boy or a bigger swine, who doesn't want anything to do with her because she's just not wicked enough for his liking. She's actually ok during the classic episodes, she baby sat someone's baby and has given Kathy a job at the stud farm and has said she'd want that person to eventually to go into business/partnership together. I think after the plane crash is when characters became a bit more heightened.
I watched The the classic episodes today (well recorded) and it was the church talent show with Kathy and Chris singing Just This side Of Love. O. M. G! I had to watch through the cracks of my fingers, Chris on keyboard, standing up. And the vicar, who I don't remember at all. I remember all the characters, not all of the storylines, but all of the charcters...except him.

It was very sad. I know she's not been in it for awhile but I think I heard the actress has been in the show for between 20-25 years, so when you've seen a character for that long it feels a lot more emotional, especially with the families reaction, especially Belle, who was devastated. I remember the episode when Lisa gave birth to Belle so the actress has acted opposite Lisa all that time.

The bit that got to me in that episode was the expression on the dog's face, it was like he knew.
I'll miss Lisa, she was a lovely character....unlike a lot of them now.
