Friday, Spike (Freeview 31), at 9 pm.
Melanie Scrofano stars as a descendant of the famous lawman. She (reluctantly) takes on the role she is destined for Paranormal Peacekeeper. Having seen the trailer a few times, this looks promising to me anyway. Will give it a try.

Many decades ago, I visited the OK Corral, setting of the famous Burt Lancaster/Kirk Douglas film. It was in reality quite tiny - not the big area containing wagons, cattle and sheds portrayed in the film. My visit was in the days when you were allowed to touch things, and Wyatt's guns were on display. Couldn't resist, and got permission to hold them. Felt quite like Annie Oakley!

That's the sort of experience that stays with you forever. Lucky girl!

Still love the film, panda. I think Kirk's portrayal of Doc Holiday was brilliant.

A good creepy start. I find first episodes seem 'patchy' as each character becomes established. there is also a sense of humour in it. The revenants as the 'baddies' are called are all bikers that look as if they'd be at home in Sons of Anarchy.
I liked it, the acting was good. It was a sort of modern day Western. Looking forward to the rest of the series. Even Doc Holliday is in it, though nnot sure who's side he is on yet.

I have recorded it but not yet watched this. It didn't look all that promising to me but will give it a go. I did flick over to it and was amazed to hear the star was 27. I thought she looked years older than that, at least a decade.

I just watched it and it was brilliant.
The first ten minutes, I was thinking 'oh here we go, serial killer of teenage girls. Again.' But it turns into something very different. And it has a sense of humour! Which is often missing from grimdark dramas these days. It has a feel of Buffy but set in the Wild West. And the MC is a bit more Faye than Buffy.
I enjoyed it. The violence is violent so be warned if you're not into that. But it made me laugh quite a lot. And it's an interesting premise.

I have just caught up with this and I did rather like the premise. There were two major downsides for me. I could barely understand a word the chap with the Southern accent said. I looked this up on IMDB and if I have the right character, which is puzzling cos I thought Doc Holiday was a pal of Wyatt Earp's, the actor is Canadian and his attempt at this accent is atrocious. I also thought the lead actress was terrible. But the whole thing hung together so I shall stick with it.

I had no problems with his accent at all. In fact I thought there was less muttering than usual!
And I think the reason Doc Holliday turned against the Earps is the hook to keep us watching so we probably won't find out any time soon.

Well I was definitely missing the subtitles! His was the only voice I had a problem with though.
Perhaps he is a double agent.........

Well, he's not a demon and he's not a ghost so..... not sure what he is! And the Marshall's back story could be interesting. I don't think there is a govt department called the Black Badges. He seems to have no back up at all. He just walks into places and tells everyone it's all classified. I reckon he's on his own journey of revenge.

Interesting idea Miranda, I thought the same thing. Re; both Doc and the Marshall. The next few weeks episodes will reveal more, I'm sure.

This is getting more and more complicated! Who is Willa and why has Doc just been kidnapped? I am losing the plot literally.

I had to give up on this. Without subtitles I could not understand what they were saying.
