I'm enjoying this thriller, watching an episode per week when broadcast rather than venturing over to the All 4 player.
The central character Muhsin is an ex-cop recruited by the Coalition Authority as a police detective, but who is also trying to find his missing daughter Sawsan, in post-Iraq War Baghdad of 2003 - where to quote Radio Times, "...the Brits distrust the Americans (and vice-versa) and the Iraqis have contempt for both (and vice-versa)". So pretty complicated!
I had to look up why one character, assistant Megan Ford, looks so familiar - answer is Sanditon ("incest" sister).

Yes, I had to look her up as well and was very surprised she was from Sanditon.
I didn't mind episode 1 but couldn't get back into it for episode 2 so have abandoned ship, giving me more time to catch up with series 3 of This Is Us on Prime.

Ah yes, This Is Us - very soapy and chock full of time-shifting, but I confess I watch it and find it compulsive viewing. Dumped by More4, now on Amazon Prime, it's showing season 4 in the US and seasons 5 & 6 (18 episodes each) have been ordered. It could easily outlive me...

It is an odd show isn't it? Nearly everyone in it is soooo self obsessed! I am probably the only person on the planet who doesn't rate Jack, but I think he is passive aggressive! There, I've said it. (I just read back on the old This Is Us thread and I called him sly and manipulative there so I haven't just outed myself as a Jack hater, lol.)
Apologies for diverting this thread.

Finished Baghdad Central now. I found it a bit different, and really good with a suspenseful finale. Brits bad, in the end Americans good, Iraqis 50-50.
I'd definitely watch another series if there is one (though it would be going beyond the book on which S1 was based).
