That sounds interesting, with a good cast.

Watched the first part, and it isn't as good as I hoped. Seemingly following the current vogue for "older woman, younger man who may not be what he seems" themes, this one I'm finding pretty unrealistic. There isn't enough chemistry coming across between the main characters and the acting is awkward. The daughter is about the only believable character.
Now I've started, I'll see out the remaining 2 episodes.

I am saving them up, perhaps for a weekend binge. It's a shame if it is a bit of a disappointment.

The endless trailers put me off so I didn't bother.

Finished now, and I'm not impressed. If anything, it got worse. Just like in Gold Digger, older woman under big time constraint goes alone to younger man's home town, and in the space of a couple of hours finds out all sorts of things about him. I generally like Julie Graham but this is not her finest work, Neil Morrissey looked uncomfortable throughout, and Art Malik was miscast in my opinion.

I recorded it but the reviews have not been good. I might save it up in case I have to self-isolate (though I have an essay to write which will keep me occupied for a bit).

I am on episode 2 now. How a woman like Julie Graham could fancy this Jed person is beyond me. But more critically, they have this massive house so surely there is a spare room? Why does he need to have Rob's room. If the dad sleeps in the spare, well he is away whilst Jed is due to stay so no problem. He is nowhere near as attractive as the chap in Gold Digger! Definitely had a charisma bypass.

Finished now. I thought it was poor, but the worst thing it was the chap playing Jed. I thought he was terrible. Nice to see Wanda Ventham though!
