Monday (13th) to Thursday (16th) at 8pm.
Lambing season gets under way at Cannon Hall Farm Barnsley. Helen Skelton and Adam Henson present the show. Also appearing are the Yorkshire Vets, Peter Wright and Julian Norton. I've watched so many vet programmes feel quite an expert now.

Lovely to see lambs with their mothers, also baby goats, calves and even an alpaca. Spring truly has sprung on the farms. Though I realize the messy business of birth isn't to everyone's taste. Looking forward to tonight's episode.

Another aaahhh episode. A mother goat and her kids, a foal, and piglets and lots of lambs last night. It's about how coronavirus is affecting the farmers tonight, and Peter Wright (the Yorkshire Vet) helps out on a farm. Last one tonight. I've enjoyed this series. I'm surprised nobody else has been watching.

The return of this delightful series had Shire horse Orchid and her foal Will return home from the Stud farm. Farmers Rob and Dave were surprised to see how big Will had grown. They also acquired a sheep dog, Pip, and baby alpaca, Helen was being reunited with her mum. Very much an aaaah, episode.

Lambing time at Cannon Hall farm, and Rob and David are going to have their hands full, (so to speak). Bear the ram, looks very pleased with himself, being daddy to all the new lambs.
Clifford the Hungarian pig goes to live on Jake's Rescue farm. Jake has cats, pigs (aplenty) alpaca and now Clifford. Unfortunately a new born alpaca on Rob's farm didn't make it. This week the brothers challenge was to make a harvest loaf. Rob won, he decorated it with hedgehogs. Dave had a harvest mouse on his.

I thought those two loaves were terrific.

It was a case of The Farmers' Llamas this episode, when Elvis the llama met his daughter Lisa Marie for the first time, her mother was of course called Priscilla. All went well. I love the names the brothers give to the animals. Jon Bon pony and Ozzy Horse born are but two.Loving this series.

Again a super programme, although I wish someone had told Helen that the lipstick colour she was wearing was hideous.

New series starts on Thursday (18th) at 8 pm. (1/7)
Farming brothers Dave and Rob Nicholson are putting their chickens in a lockdown due to an outbreak of avian flu. It will be nice to visit the farm again, and see what they have been up to since last time. Once again Jules and Helen will be our hosts.

Rather a bittersweet episode last night. The brothers said farewell to Will the Shire horse. He was going to live at a stud farm. Very upsetting for his mother, and Rob and Dave to be honest. Grizzly Bear the ram had to have his horns cut, as one was scraping his face and making it bleed. Magnificent horns they were too. Then they turned their hands to pancake making. not bad at all. I didn't know Helen came from farming folk. Brought up on a sheep farm. Learn something new every time on these shows.
