Thursday (10th) at 8 pm. (1/5)
Cameras venture behind the scenes with the oldest Regiment in the British Army, The Coldstream Guards. Saw the trailer the other night, will be watching.

I caught an advert for this yesterday. Reminds of the one about the Beefeaters. I'll be watching.

A fascinating insight into the British Army. They use real bearskins for the Busbys, I didn't know that. I would have thought in this day and age they would have come up with an alternative fabric. Nice to see young men following in their relatives' footsteps. Liked the banter about washing the bearskins with 'Head and Shoulders'.

I saw somewhere fairly recently that they had investigated using artificial fur for the bearskins but, for some reason I can't now remember, it doesn't work.
